Look let’s call it what it is…. From the outside- this place ain’t a looker. HOWEVER, this hole in the wall spot is nuts. If you’re looking for a classic hibachi plate, you’ll get it here. Only downside is takeout only. Highly recommend.

By creating Jade Hibachi, owner, Matthew Carpio, not only continues his father's business endeavors, but also builds on and refreshes his existing concept by infusing some of that Filipino flair he grew up with into the hibachi favorites his dad has served up for years. Jade Hibachi Charleston is here to foster community around hibachi made with love for the Westside neighborhood in which it operates and the greater Charleston area its owner has called home for a decade.
